Essential Requirements for Tourism

1,Time, as the hours for leisure increase so does the opportunity for travel. Changes in work days or hours, school calendars will affect how and when people can travel. The overall travel pattern has moved from a two week vacation to 6-8 three or four day mini-vacations per year.
2,Money, the majority of travel requires discretionary income. Discretionary income is money left over after all monetary obligations (food, rent and taxes) have been paid.
3,Mobility, is the access to transportation (car, bus, plane, train or ship) and the hours required to get to their destination.
4,Motivation, is the reason people travel. Motivations may include seeking novelty, education, meet new people, adventure or stress reduction.

Transportation

Time and Money: This is the critical component to tourism, the ability to get from Point A to Point B and back, or to Point C, D, E.... The variables of Time, how long it takes to get to a specific destination, and Money, how much it costs to get to your destination. Tourism developments are dependent on the ease of access and types of transportation available.

Facilities in DimensionsTourism

When tourists arrive at attractions they require facilities to provide services.
Lodging: Represent a variety of services from campgrounds, RV parks, motels and five star resorts.
Food & Beverage: Not only provide basic sustenance for tourists but an important factor in the overall tourism experience.
Support Services: Usually are represented by small retail businesses providing souvenirs and personal services. Shopping is an integral part of the travel experience. Tourists seek unique and novel items which represent the area and cultures they visit.
Infrastructure: The basic services on which all tourism depends. These systems include water and sewer systems, communication networks, medical facilities, electricity, police and fire protection and roads.

Dimensions of Tourism

All tourism activities are related to one or more of the following dimensions of tourism.
Attractions: Are the primary motivation for traveling. They may be a primary destination such as Disney World or secondary destination which are interesting places to visit on the way to your primary destination. Most tourist traveling from the east to go to Las Vegas will stopover at the Grand Canyon national Park on the way. Attractions usually focus on natural resources, culture, ethnicity or entertainment.
Natural Resources: Natural resources are the combination of physical features (Yosemite National Park, California), the climate (Vail, Colorado), and the natural beauty of the area (Acadia National Park, Maine). The challenge to managing natural resources based tourism is to preserve the natural resource from the impact of the tourist's.
Culture: A way of life which is observed through a peoples religion, history, government and traditions.
Ethnicity: To visit family and friends.
Entertainment: Tourism developments of all sizes from Disney World, Universal Studios, Las Vegas to local community Special Events and Festivals such as the Bloomsday Road Race in Spokane, Washington.

Mountain Flight in Nepal

In Nepal, seeing the remote corners of the Himalayas need not be a problem. Mountain flights provide the answer. In just a short time, you will be experiencing the Himalayas at such close range it will seem as though you could reach out and touch them. There before your eyes is the world's tallest mountain, Everest at 8848m (29,028ft). Among spectacular panoramic views of the 850 mountains over 6000 meters (19,680ft), you will see Kanchenjunga (8586m/ 28,162ft), Makalu (8463m/ 27,766ft), Lothse (8400m/ 27,940ft) and Manaslu (8165m/ 26,781ft). This is a sure way to touch any visitor's heart and to give great pleasure.
Only an awe-stricken silence can come close to match the experience of going on a mountain flight to encounter the tallest mountains of this earth. No wonder mountain fly-bys have become a popular tourist attraction in Nepal. Four airlines offer regular flights taking you over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalaya. and offer a panoramic view of the Himalaya in just one hour. As the aircraft lifts up and heads towards the east, passengers don't have to wait too long to find out what's in store for them.
First to their far left visitors see Gosaithan, also called Shisha Pangma, standing at the majestic height of 8,013 m. Immediately to the right of Gosaithan, there appears Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m), a mountain that looks like the number 8 lying down and covered with snow. To the right of Dorje Lakpa is Phurbi-Ghyachu, which looms over the Kathmandu Valley. As the plane moves along, the mountains come closer and closer. Next on the vision is Choba-Bharnare, the smallest one of the lot at 5,933 m but singularly stubborn as it has never been climbed. Then appears the mountain that is not only prominent in sight but also in spirituality - Gauri Shanker. Lord Shiva and his consort Gauri are said to protect this mountain, at the proud height of 7,134 m, and the summit had a history ofunsuccessful attempts till 1979. Gauri-Shanker is sharp and very conspicuous during the mountain flight.
As the plane moves towards the land of the rising sun, the eastern Himalaya, a succession of glorious mountains follow. Melungtse, a plateau-like mountain, stretches up to 7,023 m. Chugimago at 6,297 m is still a virgin, waiting to be climbed. Next is Karyolung, an intensely white mountain that at 6,511 m gleams with the rising sun. Cho-Oyu is the eighth highest mountain in the world. Reaching a height of 8,201 m, it appears stunningly beautiful from the aircraft.
Next on the menu is Gyachungkang, at a majestic height of 7,952 m, considered an extremely difficult climb. To the right of Gyachungkang is Pumori (7,161 m). As passengers get closer to Everest, there's Nuptse (7,855 m), which means West Peak, signifying its direction from Everest. Finally, there's Everest (8,848 m) itself, known as Sagarmatha by the Nepalese and Chomolungma by the Tibetans. Much has already been written about Everest, but actually witness it to face to face during a mountain flight is something else. Even while it looms there in front of the eyes, it remains an enigma, this highest spot on earth.

Colonial Williamsburg Launches “Revolutionary City” Experience

Colonial Williamsburg’s new, interactive experience, The Revolutionary City – From Subjects to Citizens, is connecting guests to the climate of the period leading up to and during the American Revolution. The innovative program has contributed importantly to increased visitation to the historic site thus far in 2006. “By involving guests in this significant time period in history, we’re hoping to reinvigorate their interest in our nation’s past, present and future,” said Rex Ellis, vice president of the Historic Area, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. “Citizen participation was as important to the Colonial Americans’ fight for freedom as it is for our democratic society today.” Each day consists of a two hour interactive program, focused on select events that portray Colonial Americans’ crucial transition from subjects to citizens. Day one features the collapse of royal government, depicting pivotal events during 1774 to 1776. Day two spans July 1776 – September 1781, beginning with the Declaration of Independence and including the British Occupation of the city. “Many of the challenges Colonial Americans faced are similar to the challenges we face today -- families are torn by war, parents and children argue about what’s right and wrong and political debates are a daily occurrence,” said Ellis. “By connecting visitors to the Colonial Americans’ personal struggles for freedom, we hope guests will reflect on the liberties we’ve been granted and develop newfound respect for the benefits of citizenship, as well as the responsibility to participate in the democratic process.”

Southeast Tourism Policy Council

Introduction:
This charter establishes a general framework of organization for cooperation between private sector tourism interests and multiple Federal and State agencies in the southeastern United States. The parties defined herein propose to work together in support of the resolution passed by the Southeast Tourism Society at the September 6, 2002 Federal-State Tourism Summit in Louisville, Kentucky, to establish a Southeast Tourism Policy Council (STPC). The parties further propose to coordinate and support the development and implementation of a strategy that encourages travel and tourism by serving as a forum for travel and tourism related issues of public policy and opinion in the Southeast United States.
The charter recognizes that the vitality of tourism in the southeast states is dependent upon providing opportunities to develop and enhance the management of travel and tourism activities in balance with sustainable management practices that keep the environment in a sound state, and prevent the exploitation, destruction, or neglect of the natural, historical, and cultural resources, and the national patrimony of the southeast.
In order to assure equity in representation, the STPC shall be structured in such manner that no party will have more than one representative on the governing board and no party will have more than one vote in policy and governance issues considered by the council.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Southeast Tourism Policy Council to provide leadership that insures broad representation of tourism interests in the southeast, encourage partnerships between public and private sectors of tourism and advocate for sustainable economic growth in an environmentally responsible way.
Vision Statement
By 2008, the Southeast Tourism Policy Council will lead the travel and tourism industry in identifying and analyzing travel and tourism issues and serve as a forum to affect public policy and legislation for the sustainability growth industry in the southeast.
STPC Philosophy
It is the philosophy of the STPC that the tourism industry in the southeast has a responsibility to be an advocate for the future of treasured public lands by acting as a spokesman on issues of sustainable tourism in the region. Further, the STPC believes that partnerships should be forged that recognize conserving and sustaining our valuable natural, cultural, and historic resources can coexist with supporting the economic vitality of tourism interests and communities that serve visitors.
Goals and Objectives
In order to achieve the STPC mission its members embrace and encourage tourism goals that:
enrich the visitor experience by providing opportunities to appreciate and enjoy the rich heritage of the southeast
optimize understanding of the contributions of tourism to the quality of life and intercultural appreciation of the southeast's natural and human resources, history and ethnicity
support the economic viability of tourism interests and communities
conserve and otherwise protect the natural, cultural and historic resources that are the cornerstone for travel and tourism
promote the integrity and authenticity of tourism related sites and activities and showing respect for the values of the people of the southeast
Goals
Generally stated, the goals of the STPC shall be:
· Sustainable Use - Because tourism is the cleanest and perhaps most sustainable industry in the world, it makes economic sense to explore ways in which federal and state agencies can work together with the tourism industry to create sustainable environments that foster sustainable industry.
· Resource Conservation - Natural, historic, cultural, and recreation resources administered by federal and state agencies must adhere to commonly accepted conservation and management practices if the integrity and use of resources is to be sustained and of continuing value to the community and the public.
It will be increasingly important to conserve, and, where appropriate restore, the natural, cultural, historical, and recreation resources that serve as the basis for travel and tourism.
Economic Development/Diversification - Tourism is an essential economic diversification tool. It is not the total answer to prosperity planning and development, nor to economic improvement for most communities. Federal and state agencies can help the private sector provide necessary and profitable services inside and outside site boundaries. This government commitment must be made, furthered by a commitment to have local vendors and providers under government contracts perform on a competitive basis for tourism services. Provide skill and expertise in developing strategic plans and visions. The private sector can assist public lands/communities in the proper development, use, and enjoyment of those treasures thereby infusing local economies with those dollars.
Quality of Life Enhancement and Personal Growth - Enrichment of surroundings grows from personal learning, appreciation, and commitment to provide best management practices and decisions on lands inside and outside federal and state site boundaries. The quality of life near or adjacent to federal or state administered properties should come from an appreciation for their value and a desire to sustain them for the future as something of inestimable worth to society. It is also important that whatever approaches are taken to increase the health and viability of tourism, that the STPC respect the needs and values of the constituents it purports to serve.
Enhancement of Visitor Experiences - By advancing public awareness of travel and tourism opportunities and improving the quality and value of service to the public, visitors to the southeast states will have quality life enriching experiences in order to maximize tourism revenue.

Entertainment Tours

Entertainment Tours is owned and operated by the Curreri family. In 1992 with the opening of Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard, CT, Frank Curreri saw an opportunity to start a bus company. Starting with one 15 passenger van and one trip per day to the casino, he grew the company. After graduating college Frank's sons Michael and Mark joined the company. Soon Entertainment Tours needed additional equipment, drivers and management. Today Entertainment Tours is well known for its state of the art equipment, premier maintenance facilities, excellent drivers, and innovative training and safety programs. Over the years Entertainment Tours has transported millions of passengers over millions of miles and we look forward to many more.

Travel origon, (soul on snow)

"The tips of my skis are buried crosswise like Pick Up Sticks in a bank of snow that has also swallowed my left arm. My entire body is tangled in a pose that would make a yoga teacher sigh.
No matter — the morning sun is patterned on the pine-shaded snow like loom strands. It’s a balmy 44 degrees. A silky breeze dries my hands as I right myself and point my skis back down the trail.
On a practically perfect late winter day at Eastern Oregon’s Anthony Lakes ski area, where the Nordic trails wind their way around evergreen forest, this tumble was probably the result of my paying more attention to a gray jay in the pines than to a downturn in the path.
The high-elevation snow is as dry and forgiving as cotton, and there’s no crowd to witness my downfall — only Dick Knowles, the Anthony Lakes Nordic program director, who kindly accepts my claim that I intended to spill. You can cruise for hours around the trails up here and barely see a soul; Knowles designed the 40-kilometer system of interconnecting loops to achieve just that. In an hour of skiing we encounter one other couple; we nod and pass on.
"Out here, the dance hall is the place for social gatherings. Ninety-four percent of the people who go out cross-country skiing don’t want to see or talk to anyone. They want good snow, a substantial trail system, and peace and quiet,” Knowles explains. And that’s just what we find in abundance.
"Abundance” is an apt overall descriptor for the Oregon skiing experience. Few states or Canadian provinces offer such a wide variety of terrain, facilities and conditions for winter sports — including alpine or Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling.
Eastern Oregon is classic inland West territory, where high bowls capture heaps of dry, powdery snow, jays commonly known as “camp robbers” chatter in the pines, and skiers traverse the snow-draped shoulders of broad mountains. This is not the Rockies but rather the Elkhorns, an arm of the Blue Mountains, yet it is remarkably similar.
Central Oregon is high desert, where buttes and volcanic cones scrape equally dry powder from Pacific fronts, and slopeside vistas encompass hundreds of square miles of juniper-dotted Great Basin.
And in the Cascades, prodigious snowfalls embrace the high flanks and mid-mountain passes of North America’s formative backbone. There, Mt. Hood offers America’s only year ’round lift-served skiing.
All these areas have facilities and trail networks to serve any type of winter sport. Some offer the sort of low-key uncrowded skiing that’s rare these days. And in each place the air, the light, the snow and the landscape are distinctly different.
This wondrous variety is an accident of climate and topography — Oregon is astride the Cascades, it’s atop the Great Basin, and it’s in the path of the Pacific jet stream. It’s a happy circumstance that’s easy for both residents and visitors to enjoy: The state’s ski areas are all within a day’s drive of Portland or Seattle, or a quick plane flight from those cities and others.
I learned to cross-country ski in the Rockies, but now I’m here to reclaim the experience and have expectations of sunshine, ample snow and pine-scented solitude. The journey starts at the 90-year-old landmark Union Hotel, the closest lodging to the ski area, then on to the Anthony Lakes Nordic Center, itself a restored 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps cabin.
Knowles and I head out the main southern loop, which winds around the edge of Anthony Lake, passing beneath the timberline crag of Anthony Ridge and, coincidentally, beside the slope where Eastern Oregon residents established the first lift here in the 1930s. (The alpine area has since moved a couple hundred yards west along the ridge, so the Nordic system is completely separate.) Across the lake is a now-abandoned ski jump, one of the first in North America.
“The judging platform those old skiing cowboys used to use is still up there in the woods,” Knowles points out. “This was pretty much their winter rodeo.” A former World Cup skiing guru, Knowles lives on a ranch at the base of the Elkhorn Range, and despite traveling the globe to ski, he has no trouble resisting attempts to lure him elsewhere.
“Where else would I want to go? This is paradise.”
After looping around the main two-kilometer circuit, we head west on Anthony Lakes’ newest drawing card, a sensational 12K trail that winds around and up the ski area’s ridge, concluding at the top of the chairlift. Nordic skiers can, if they wish, take the lift up and cruise back down. More dedicated skiers ski up and back — a full day’s mission for most. This trail is shared with snowmobilers, but it’s 20 feet wide, and each sport gets an ample half the trail.
A steady half-hour jaunt takes us to a vista point where the trail skirts a steep slope, and my reward is a sensational panorama that sweeps 200 degrees, from the timbered marches of the westerly Blue Mountains to the snow-blanketed heights of the Eagle Cap Wilderness in the Wallowa Range northeast. It seems as if I’m looking at half the West; there’s no distinct horizon, just ever more distant ranges offering a sun-doused infinity of timber, snow and rock.
The trip back to the Nordic center is a 15-minute glide, the sort of gentle cruise that makes cross-country skiing exhilarating. The fresh breeze, born on the snowy ridge above and brushed through lodgepole branches, has a distinctive, whooshing sound I’d recognize anywhere. I first heard it and smelled the pine scent it carried when I strapped on skis more than two decades ago. Though I’m just a visitor, I feel right at home.''

Kandariya Mahadev Historical Tample in Khajuraho

Travel to westwards from the Lakshmana Temple, along the garden path one comes to the largest and most handsome monument at Khajuraho, the Historical Kandariya Mahadev Temple.Built in around 1025–1050 AD, this historical sandstone structure (like all the other temples built entirely without the use of cement and mortar) stands almost 30m above ground level and is as long as it is tall. The temple is dedicated to Shiva (the destroyer of the Hindu Trinity of Gods), with a linga (phallic representation of Lord Shiva) at the centre of the garbha griha (the womb or innermost chamber oThe Historical Temple SculpturesThe temple stairs lead to a platform decorated with rich sculpted figures of women in a variety of poses. There are women playing with a ball, some engaged in writing a letter, others applying make-up and absorbed in a multitude of other activities. On the southern and northern sides, between the balconies are the large-scale erotic panels. In fact the mithuna (sensuously carved erotic figures) on the Kandariya Mahadev include some of the most energetic eroticism to be seen at Khajuraho.Below the bands of the main body of the temple are smaller, narrower friezes depicting court life, the army, and processions of elephants and horses. This Khajuraho temple is can be approached by the eastern stairway that has the most fantastically ornate toran (frieze) of the entire group of temples. The floral toran is carved out of a single block of stone.f the temple).

Hou do you learn its Historical place?

There are a lot of ideas about how people learn. I am guessing that you don't want a detailed scientific explanation about brain cells and things, but are asking for more general terms. If you do want the nerve cell answer, just ask another question and we'll see what we can do to answer it! Here are some ways that people learn things:
people search for meaning - it is normal for people to wonder why things happen, or what things mean, and we learn by doing this.
people learn by repetition - the more you practice something, the better you get. This is not only because you've trained your body and mind how to do that thing, but also because each time you repeat, your brain goes back over the same pathway of nerves and actually gets faster at connecting!
people learn by conditioning - this is a fancy way of saying that if you get a reward of some kind for learning something, you'll learn faster and remember it better. This is why we have grades in school and paychecks in adult life - any reward makes you do a better job.
people learn by watching others - it is normal for people to watch someone else do a task before they try it themselves. You learn more easily if you have a model to show you how things work.
people learn when something doesn't work - failure actually helps you to learn more than success. When something doesn't work, you learn all the things that failed, and you learn how to fix them and make that thing work - this is a lot more information than you'd have gotten if things just flew along perfectly the first time.
people learn to understand - it's very frustrating to see other people doing something you can't do, and it's normal for people to want to understand how things are done by others.
people learn in three basic styles - visual learners (people who learn easiest when they see something on paper or a computer screen), auditory learners (people who learn best if they hear something), and kinesthetic learners (people who learn best by actually doing something themselves).
children learn in four basic stages. They begin with something that a famous psychologist (Jean Piaget) calls the sensori-motor stage; this is the time from birth to about 2 years old when children begin to learn about reality (for example, most young children don't understand that objects are still there even when they cannot see them - this is why the game of "peek-a-boo" is so much fun for babies). The next stage (ages 2-7) is called the pre-operational stage, and is where the child doesn't understand abstract ideas and thinks in concrete terms (for example, they have trouble connecting the idea of "all dogs" to the idea of "my collie dog"). Ages 7-11 are known as the concrete operations stage, and is when the child begins to learn abstract thinking skills (for example, they now can work math problems using just numbers without needing physical objects to count with). Finally, from ages 11-15, the child enters the formal operations phase, during which they learn adult thinking skills.
people learn by concentrating and focusing on things, and making an effort to learn them.
people also learn in unconscious ways, such as hearing a song and remembering the words without making any effort to do so.
people learn with different areas of the brain - your right brain is usually better at learning more creative (intuitive) things like inventing solutions to problems and looking at the overall picture; your left brain is usually better at learning more logical (rational) things like ordered lists, analyzing problems, and looking at specific parts of the whole.

Mount Eeverest

Mt. Everest. Soaring almost five and a half miles into the sky, piercing the jet stream with its iconic summit and blanketed in colossal glaciers, few mountains have the power to conjure up as many notions of history, legacy, excitement, and challenge as this mountain does. Embarking on an expedition to Mt. Everest is often the pinnacle of a climbers' career and is quite simply an experience beyond description.
"The whole trip, international travel, sightseeing, challenging climbing, good teammates, great guide, from start to finish it was an amazing trip."
— Rich H.
Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. is pleased to return to Mt. Everest in the spring of 2010, bringing our 40 years of guiding excellence to the world's highest peak. RMI's small, exclusive team is led by tenured RMI guide and Everest veteran Dave Hahn and features one of the best climber to guide ratio on the mountain. Our expedition operates with a ratio of two climbers to one RMI guide and a one to one climber to Sherpa ratio. This smaller ratio allows our climbers to build solid rapports with their guides and fellow team members, creating the strongest team possible.
RMI's guiding approach on Everest differs notably from many other guide services as we purposefully choose to keep our team smaller than many other expeditions. Instead of running big expeditions with a large number of climbers, we focus our attention on leading a more intimate climbing team, concentrating our resources on each individual to ensure the safest and most enjoyable experience possible for each of our climbers. Unlike the fragmentation that seems to be inherent to big expeditions, this smaller team facilitates stronger team dynamics, better communication and individualized attention. We share our meals around one table, discuss route and weather conditions together, and we plan and approach the climb as a close-knit team.
Climbing Mt. Everest is one of the biggest adventures and serious undertakings for any mountaineer, and requires a great deal of preparation. We ask that you carefully consider our 40 years of guiding experience, our strict standards of safety, and our drive to provide the highest level of comfort possible as you weigh your decision. We have rightfully earned the reputation as one of the most distinguished guide services in the world: we offer a high level of service, provide you with top-quality, experienced guides, and have an infrastructure that is entirely geared toward your individual safety

Paragliding in world

The Envy 2 is a high performance, cross-country glider with very high safety and stability. The Envy 1 set a high standard within the DHV 2 category of gliders and the Envy 2 follows the story. The performance profits from the experience gained in production of the Magus series, and the overall respect gained by the Envy 1. Performance, agility, stability and high climbing performance were again our goals when designing this high performance glider. The Envy 2 was made for cross country oriented pilots looking for relaxed flying and for pilots progressing from Intermediate gliders to expand their skills. The pilot will easily progress with this glider. Carefully calculated airfoils of different thicknesses give the glider an excellent glide performance and stability both at trim and in accelerated flight. It features excellent stability at full speed. This feature makes the Envy 2 stand out as supreme amongst its competitors.

Travelling for entertainment

Actually every time when we feel sick and tired of tough daily routine we ask ourselves: isn't it a time to have a good rest? What kind of entertainment do you prefer? Most of us spend our weekends staying at home and watching TV, going to clubs, restaurants with family and friends or visiting the nearby cities and towns. But today let's talk about absolutely amazing kind of rest, rarer but mostly likable for any person - it is traveling during vacation.

What a pleasure it is to plan our trip beforehand, choose the country or countries we would like to stay in, read the information about the historical background and traditions, reserve tickets, book the hotel, make routs etc. Of course we shouldn't forget about insurance for the future journey and... here we are, we are nearly ready to go, but is that all we really need to do before starting our vacation?

The fact is that lying lazily in the sun or swimming in warm and tender waves of Red, Mediterranean or other seas, is ok, but if you want to get as much pleasure as you really deserve, think about one more point: how to entertain you and your friend or family during your trip. The definition of entertainment, given in the encyclopedia says: Entertainment is an amusement or emotional diversion intended to hold the attention of the audience or participants.
So what can take your breath away and make you really absolutely happy?

First of all, everything will depend on the country you plan to go and people you will stay with. Some sea countries can suggest you a wide variety of unforgettable marine cruises, you will also be able to join the excursions where the guide will show you the most amazing historical places and monuments. Many countries have very good zoos with best selection of rare and exotic animals (that will be extremely interesting not only for your children, but for you as well). Or spend your time, visiting local botanical gardens to see the most exceptional species of rare plants.

If you travel with children, better not to forget that they need not only good meal and rest, but impressions as well; a child is like a sponge, who is ready to absorb all the coming information. He/she will get the unforgettable memories and you - a happy smile and sparkling eyes of your kids - what can be more rewarding? Visit theme parks: Walt Disney Magic Kingdom (in America, France and Japan); The Sentosa (in Singapore), Legoland (in Denmark), Alton Towers (in Britain) and share the joy of your child.

Some Muslim countries can suggest you such kind of entertaining like trail riding, or camel riding. And if you are a really adventurous traveller, you won't miss the possibility to spend the night in the local inhabitant's camp and initiate into all the peculiarities of local culture: taste food, listen to the native songs or watch and join (if possible) the exotic dancing.

What else? If you go to Africa, it will suggest you safari, and you will see many wild animals in their natural surroundings. If you visit Spain don't miss the chance to see rather cruel but thrilling performance - bullfighting.

If you like active kinds of rest, the variety of choice for the entertainment is nearly unlimited: rafting, snorkelling, scuba diving, mountaineering, biking etc. You will get plenty of energy for the next working set.

The devout supporters of "dolce vita" can find entertaining so called "gastronomic tours", when you can come to a certain hotel and not only live there but study all secrets of local cuisine, or you can visit a country when a certain festival or carnival is taking place, and what on Earth can be more entertaining? All the nightclubs and casinos look so welcoming, waiting for you to give you all possible pleasures: food, drinks, dancing, exotic shows and if you are single - new acquaintances!

The choice is up to you. It's time to act!

Importance of Travelling

The importance of travelling
Bolzano 1. 02. 2003
Travelling is something that can open our mind...
We need to travel to see faces different from the one that we always have around and to avoid the depression of being stuck in the same place.
Prices, companies, and offers. They4re so many! You can buy trips online, plan your trip, travel safely and with your pets.
It's natural to be nervous if you're going on a trip on your own for the first time or even with your friends for the first time. Especially if you've never done it before. If you travel on your own, you have to take care of yourself, probably know another language and another culture. There are different ways to travel. For example: by bicycle, airplane, car, ship, bus or train. If we go and look on the Internet for some information about travelling or something about another country, you can find so many news that you get a headache, and you forget what you wanted to looked for. `The future of travel & tourism - a future for everyone`.
Prices, companies, and offers. They're so many! Like for example: buying trips online, planning your trip, travelling safely and travelling with pets.
There are offers for everyone. People who want to relax on a beautiful beach, people who want to amuse themselves, go out and meet new people or for those who want to get to know a new culture, taste different food and discover new countrysides.
But unfortunately travelling costs very much. Especially if we catch an airplane and fly very far like to the U.S.A. But after the terroristic attacks on the Twin Towers in N.Y. and on a disco in Bali, where a lot of people were dancing, people are very afraid of travelling.
So the question of travelling sank, and a lot of people lost their work because there is not enough request. The consequence is that flying doesn't cost very much anymore. For example a flight from Florence to London costs only 19
We need to travel to change the sight of those who are around us and to avoid the depression of being always in the same place. Especially young people like to celebrate the beginning of a new year in a big city (like our friend Maria who is going to Berlin), In those cities all kinds of parties, fireworks and music are organized for everybody.
Tourism is very important for the inhabitants of a tourists' place or a big city. There are so many people who can live with the money earned by tourism. Benefits go for example to tourists' guides, to people who have various and different shops and or who have restaurants and hotels. Without tourism the big, artistic cities, would die.
Finally I think that travelling is a big business for all. But it's also the most interesting, the one we'll never forget and the one through which we have the possibility to open our minds.
Have you ever thought about the differences that we can find travelling all over the world? Every time we can discover something new...!

Australia faces a slump in tourism: figures
(AFP) – Dec 29, 2008
SYDNEY (AFP) — Australia's famous coral reefs, beaches and outback are facing a decline in tourism as cash-conscious globetrotters tighten their belts, analysts warned Tuesday.
Official figures released by the nation's tourism forecaster predicted a four percent slump in arrivals for 2009.
Just 5.3 million visitors are expected, which would be the lowest figure since 1989, when a pilots' strike drove tourism down 7.5 percent, said the Tourism Forecasting Committee.
Global financial turmoil had rattled consumer confidence and was expected to affect tourism more heavily than either the 2003 SARS epidemic or the Asian financial crisis of a decade ago.
SARS -- or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome -- triggered a global health emergency, infecting more than 8,000 people, causing nearly 800 deaths worldwide and pushing tourism down two percent, while the financial crisis saw a drop of 3.5 percent.
In the latest downturn, visitors from Japan and the United States are expected to drop off most steeply, plunging 11.9 and 8.5 percent respectively, despite an aggressive marketing campaign linked to the movie "Australia".
The Australian government has invested 50 million dollars (34.5 million US dollars) on a campaign using Baz Luhrmann's wartime epic, which has failed to meet US box-office expectations.
Both Japan and the US -- key inbound markets for Australia -- have declared themselves to be in recession.
Falls in visitors from both countries are expected to be somewhat offset by a rise in visitors from the growth economies of India (up 14.3 percent) and China (4.5 percent).
Australians are also expected to rein in their world travel, with outbound tourism forecast to drop by 2.9 percent.
Acting Prime Minister Julia Gillard defended the government's spending on the campaign to promote Australia overseas with a cinematic television ad shot by film-maker Luhrmann.
"It's very important to keep a presence in overseas tourist markets," Gillard told reporters.
